Who is eligible for REET 2024?
REET 2024 Education qualification for Level I (class 1 to 5): BSTC / D.El.Ed. with Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education.
REET 2024 Education qualification for Level II (class 6 to 8): BSTC / D.El.Ed. with Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education.

Is there negative marking in REET?
While the REET level 1 exam consists of 5 subjects, level 2 has 4 subjects. The questions in the exam will be Objective or Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). Candidates must know that there is no negative marking for any wrong questions.

How many attempts are there for REET?
There is no maximum number of attempts applicable to the REET examination. A candidate can appear for it as many times as they want, as there is no REET age limit. The eligibility criteria are based on the minimum age requirement, educational qualification, and nationality.
What is the validity of REET?
The REET Certificate secured by candidates who will qualify in the REET Exam 2022 and later will be valid for a lifetime. However, for the candidates who qualified in the REET Exam 2021, their REET certificate will be valid as per the previous rule, i.e., for three years only.
